What we collect

We collect information you provide: your name and phone number when you book an appointment or visit the salon; optional email, birthday, anniversary, and address/notes if you share them. We also keep a record of your visits, purchases, and loyalty points. Staff sign-in uses Google email for authentication.

Why we collect it

Phone numbers are used to confirm appointments, send invoices, and occasional service reminders — via WhatsApp when you opt in. Marketing messages (offers, win-back) require a separate marketing consent.

Processors

We use Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business / Cloud API) as a processor to deliver messages you consented to. Message content and your phone number are processed by Meta according to their terms. Payment links may use Razorpay as a payment processor. We do not sell your personal data.

WhatsApp Messages

Transactional messages (confirmations, invoices) require WhatsApp consent. Marketing requires separate marketing consent. You can withdraw marketing consent by replying STOP on WhatsApp or asking staff. Staff can also update consent on your profile. Withdrawal is recorded with time and method.

Your Rights

Under India’s DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Know what data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Withdraw consent for WhatsApp messages
  • Request erasure of your data (Right to be Forgotten)

Data Retention

Appointment and invoice records are kept for 7 years as required by GST law. After that, customer-identifying information is anonymised.
